Tan Chuan Hong: Starting from the 1st, Bagan MCA will adjust service hours for helping public applications and appeal on GKP and BPN 2.0.

National Care Assistance Fund (BPN 2.0) and Small and Medium Enterprise Assistance Fund 2.0 (GKP 2.0) programs will be open for application in October; the MCA Bagan Division will accept inquiries and applications from the public starting from October 1st.
The chairman of the MCA Bagan Division, Tan Chuan Hong, said that the division received many calls from people asking how to apply and whether they are eligible since the announcement by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin.
The division service center is located in 4234 Jalan Kampung Benggali, 12200 Butterworth. The service hours have been adjusted. It provides inquiry and application services to the public from Monday to Friday, 11 am to 6 pm.
"After office hours, we also arranged 4 party members to provide online services to the people. They are Sum Yoo Keong (012-4233285), Edmund Ng (012-5532622), Tan Ming Huan (012-4742950) & Lim Jit Fong (019-5908363)."
The secretary of the MCA Bagan Division, Sum Yoo Keong, pointed out that those who were not previously benefited from the National Care Assistance Fund (BPN) can apply for the BPN 2.0 program from October 15 to November 15.
"As for those who have received BPN 2020 assistance, they will automatically benefit without further application."
He said that BPN 2.0 is estimated to be distributed around the end of October and January next year. B40 families with an income of RM4,000 or less will receive RM1,000; M40 families with an income of RM4001 to RM8,000 will receive RM600; B40 singles with an income of RM2,000 or less will receive RM500; M40 singles with an income of RM2001 to RM4,000 will receive RM300 .
In addition, the RM3,000 GKP 2.0 plan will be opened from October 1st to 31st to allow small and medium-sized enterprises that have not previously obtained GKP to apply. Other application conditions include less than 5 employees, annual turnover of less than RM300,000, registered with the Inland Revenue Department, SSM or local government by August 31.
Tan Chuan Hong mentioned that GKP 2.0 applicants can check the status of their applications from November 15; the government expects to remit money to the applicant's personal bank account on November 25.
He thanked the Prime Minister for considering the economic difficulties faced by the people and relaunching the National Care Assistance Fund to reduce the heavy burden on the people due to the coronavirus.
